These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Nirnay TV (operated by [Registered Legal Entity Name], "we", "us", "our") and govern your access to and use of the Nirnay TV mobile application and related services (the "App"). By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Definitions

• "App" — the Nirnay TV mobile application and any related content, features, and services.
• "Content" — all news, text, images, audio, video, graphics, logos, and other material made available through the App.
• "You" / "User" — any person who accesses or uses the App.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the App.
• If you are a minor, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
• By using the App you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Licence to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App for your own personal, non-commercial use. This licence does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

4. Accounts

• Signing in uses Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the Google account you use and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, or attempt to circumvent technical safeguards.
• You may use the App as a Guest without an account, with reduced functionality (no cross-device sync).

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
• scrape, crawl, mirror, mass-download, cache, or systematically extract Content except as expressly permitted;
• republish, redistribute, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any Content without our prior written permission;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code, except where permitted by law;
• interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App, its servers, or networks;
• upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code;
• use the App to infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person;
• remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.

Limited personal sharing of individual articles via the in-app Share feature is permitted.

6. Intellectual Property

All Content and all intellectual property in the App — including the "Nirnay TV" name, logo, trademarks, design, text, graphics, audio, and video — are owned by or licensed to Nirnay TV and are protected by Indian and international intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited licence in Section 3, no rights are granted to you.

7. Third-Party Services & Content

The App integrates third-party services including Google Sign-In, Supabase, Expo, and YouTube, and may display links or embedded content from third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.

8. Copyright Complaints

We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe Content in the App infringes your copyright, email admin@nirnaytv.com with: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) the specific Content and its location; (c) your contact details; and (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorised. We will review and act on valid complaints.

9. Disclaimers

The App and all Content are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or availability. While we make reasonable editorial efforts, we do not warrant that Content is error-free, complete, current, or uninterrupted. 10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nirnay TV and its operators, officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App, even if advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed INR 1,000 (Indian Rupees one thousand) or the amount you paid us to use the App (which is zero), whichever is greater. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nirnay TV and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the App, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnity, and Governing Law) will survive.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App. The parties will first attempt to resolve disputes amicably by contacting our Grievance Officer.

14. Changes to the App and These Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We may also revise these Terms; material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15. General

• Severability — if any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
• No waiver — our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it.
• Entire agreement — these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
• Assignment — you may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale.
• Force majeure — we are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
